PEI Express Entry Category
The PEI PNP's Express Entry Classification is lined up with the Canadian government's Express Entry system, which deals with the applications for three monetary class immigration classifications: the Administrative skilled worker Program, federal skilled Exchanges Program, and Canadian Experience Class.
Express Entry candidates make profiles that are placed into a pool and are given a comprehensive Ranking system (CRS) score for human capital factors, for example, age, work experience, education, and official language proficiency.
Express Entry candidates who receive a provincial nomination are given an additional 600 points toward their CRS score, and are effectively guaranteed an Invitation to Apply (ITA) from the Government of Canada in a subsequent Express Entry draw.
So as to be considered for a common selection from PEI, Express Entry candidates need to make an Outflow of Intrigue (EOI) profile with the PEI PNP.
